Troop 337 Historian Report – February 2025

February 4th – Troop Meeting
This week’s Troop meeting was in the gym, but we once again only had half of the gym because the church was using half for storage. It was Board Game night! Scouts brought Board Games to have a fun evening of gaming. Scouts attending Klondike also worked on meal planning.

February 7th – 9th – Klondike Campout
This was a very fun but also a very cold campout.
Scouts were able to enjoy hiking and camping in the cooler weather before summer starts.

February 11th – Troop Elections
Scouts signed up for leadership positions they were interested in for the Spring / Summer term, and the Troop held elections. Congratulations to all the new leaders! Mandatory for all scouts elected to the Spring/Summer 2025 PLC, and to any scout attending NYLT, will be attending the Spring Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) being held on March 15th, so plan accordingly.

February 22nd – Leo Marr’s Troop Shed Clean-out Project
Leo Marr organized a project to clean out the Troop shed and trailer of gear that we no longer use. Every single one of us benefits from the Troop’s gear. As we sorted through gear that we no longer use, it was available for families to take, brought to a donation center, or thrown out if it was considered garbage. Drinks and snacks, and even lunch, were provided.

Tuesday, February 25th – Pack 372 New Scout Crossover into Troop 337
Welcome to Troop 337, Artie Odum! Artie Odum has just crossed over from Pack 372, so make sure to be very welcoming.
