Troop 337 Historian Report – November 2025
November 4 Troop Meeting
Today the Scouts did meal planning for the November campout, and after that, they
participated in Rat Trap Fishing. Rat Trap Fishing is a game where you tie a rope to a stick and
try to use it to activate and catch rat traps. It develops knot tying skills and it is a lot of fun! We
had several AOLs visit us on this evening, and they got a great introduction to our Troop

November 7-9 – Thankful Campout
On this campout, Scouts played games at camp, survived the cold weather, and had a nice
thanksgiving feast at the end of the day Saturday. A special thanks to our Scoutmaster, Jason
Jeffries, for deep frying the turkey for us, and to the Scouts for making all the delicious side
dishes!

November 18 – PLC Meeting
At PLC, Scouts plan for the meetings of the coming month. Elected leaders are required to
participate and have lots of fun plans they have created for the Troop.
November 22 – Kohl Street Cleanup
Troop 337 has adopted Kohl Street as a way to provide more service to our community. Every
now and then, the Scouts go around and pick up trash along the street to help maintain its
cleanliness. Twelve Scouts and leaders participated in this month’s clean up.
