From June 20th- June 25th, Troop 337 went to Peaceful valley scout camp for our annual summer camp event. While we were up at PV, the scouts worked on and earned merit badges such as handicrafts, shooting sports, and aquatic activities. Some of us worked on our cycling merit badge, and got to ride around the entire Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch.
While we were going to breakfast or dinner after our morning or evening flag ceremonies, there would be these statues in a clearing. They looked very realistic- almost real enough to look like actual humans- and seemed to move by the next flag ceremony.
Of Course we played A LOT of Gaga Ball!!
And unfortunately, the weather got really bad on Thursday and on Friday and closing campfire was cancelled, so our troop decided to leave after merit badges were finished on Friday. But we had lots of fun, saw some amazing sunrises and sunsets!
